Tanni Gal Liquid

Liquid gall tannin that stabilizes the color of wines and brings body and flavor to wines that lack flavor and structure.
Tanni Gal Liquid is a preparation of gallic or digallic acid esters with quinic acid and glucose. This product has an average molecular weight of 1600 to 1850. The main actions of Tanni Gal Liquid include:

  • Color stabilization: this product plays a key role in color stabilization in wines. Gallotannins in Gran Tanni Gal Liquid form stable complexes with color pigments in wines, including anthocyanins in red wines and flavonols in white wines. These complexes help protect the coloring matter from oxidation and precipitation processes, thus keeping the wine color more stable over time.
  • Adding body and flavor: Tanni Gal Liquid can improve the body and flavor of wines that may lack taste and structure. This liquid tannin can enrich the sensory profile of wines, adding notes of vanilla and licorice, as well as imparting more smoothness and fullness in the mouth. In addition, it can have a complexing and masking action toward herbaceous and bitter polyphenols, thus helping to balance the overall taste of the wine.

The use of Gran Tanni Gal Liquid as a clarification aid offers numerous benefits, including stabilizing the color of wine, improving the sensory qualities of high quality wines, and adding body and smoothness. In addition, this product can help optimize the structure and taste of wines, improving their overall organoleptic complexity.
