Stabigum® Dry is a Seyal-type gum arabic (dextrorogyra, also known as short chain) instant soluble powder (spray dried). Its main characteristics and applications include:

Composition and solubility: the spray dried process gives the product quick and easy solubility. In addition, Stabigum® Dry is free of impurities and has a low calcium content.
Role as a protective colloid: Stabigum Dry performs a protective colloid function in wines. This means it helps prevent turbidity and tartaric precipitation phenomena. Its action is particularly useful in keeping wine clear and stable during storage and maturation.
Improved organoleptic characteristics: Stabigum Dry has the ability to bind to tannins present in wine. This interaction contributes to improving the smoothness of the wine and alleviating any taste edginess. In addition, Stabigum Dry increases the perception of sweetness on the tongue, making the wine softer and rounder. This is especially useful in red wines that have undergone long macerations and may exhibit undesirable sensory characteristics.
Wine-making compatibility: Stabigum Dry is designed so that it does not significantly affect the filterability of wines. This means that it can be added at any stage of bottling without causing significant problems related to filtration.

10-20 g/hl to prevent precipitation and cloudiness.
10-30 g/hl to highlight structure and smoothness.
Preliminary laboratory tests are always recommended to assess filterability index and sensory examination.
Warning: maximum legal dosage 30 g/hl.

Dissolve Stabigum Dry in water or wine at a ratio of 1:10 and add it to the mass to be treated at the reassembly stage. It is recommended not to increase the concentration of the prepared solution above 20%.
