Potassium Metabisulfite is a white crystalline powder with the pungent smell of sulfur dioxide, which is involved in numerous processes in the wine industry. In addition to its well-known function as an antioxidant, Potassium Metabisulfite prevents browning and organoleptic deviations in musts and wines. Due to its ability to block these undesirable processes, Potassium Metabisulfite helps maintain the organoleptic characteristics of wine and preserve its quality.
