Lithium chloride in enology is used as a mandatory detector for wines that are no longer suitable for direct consumption, especially those destined for distilleries. It finds wide use in the treatment of products obtained from lees leaching, musts and spoiled wines. This compound plays a crucial role in the detection of wines unfit for human consumption and in the management of by-products of the wine process.

Pure lithium cloride.

For wines intended for distillery, the dosage is 5-10 g/hl.
Musts and altered or spoiled wines need higher dosage: 10-20 g/hl.
The laws in force in the European Community must be followed when using Lithium chloride.

Directly add to the wine and add to the mass under stirring.

0.100 kg resealable bag or PET can.
Store the product in a cool, dry place.
