L-malic acid

Natural acid used in enology as an acidity regulator and flavor enhancer.
L-malic acid is a widely distributed organic acid found in nature in many fruits and vegetables. It finds extensive use in the food industry. In fact, malic acid is commonly used as an acidity regulator in juices made from very ripe or insufficiently acidic grapes, helping to stabilize pH and improve storage.

Pure L-malic acid of natural origin.

For the use of L- malic acid, current laws in the European Community must be followed.
On musts: max 190 ml/hl.
On wines: max 315 ml/hl.

Add directly to the solution under agitation or equalize to the mass to be treated.
Preliminary laboratory tests are recommended. Always refer to current regulations in the field of use.
