MembraClean 1 is a compound with a p.s. (solidification point) of 1.31 and a pH of about 13 in a 1% solution. This product combines a high degreasing and emulsifying power for organic residues with a strong sequestering capacity, allowing it to be used even in hard water. Sequestering agents make it possible to effectively act on calcium and magnesium mineral salts that may precipitate during food processes. The binding properties of MembraClean 1 towards calcium and magnesium allow their salts to be resolubilised. This feature reduces the need for frequent acid wash cycles, offering greater ease of washing, less exposure to acidic agents and, in general, contributing to significant time savings.

Potassium hydroxide 15-30%
E.D.T.A. 5-15%.
pH (soluz. 1%)= 13% circa, p.s.=1.31

For machine floor washing: use at a concentration of 0.2-0.5% in hot water (max. 50 °C, always check the compatibility of the washing machine with alkaline detergents).

Due to the product’s aggressiveness towards soft metals, we recommend a preliminary check on the materials making up the scrubbing circuit.

After initial rinsing of the systems to be washed with disposable water, circulate a solution of MembraClean 1 at a concentration of 2-8% at a temperature of 60-75 °C for contact time of approx. 30 minutes.
RINSE WELL AFTER USE

12 kg and 24 kg canister.
Store in the original container, closed and away from reactive substances.
