Elledetar-S is a specially developed chemical formula for effective cleaning and removal of tartar from wine vats, winemaking equipment, filtration equipment, bottling lines and various equipment used in the wine industry. This powerful cleaner and descaler is highly versatile and can also be used in sectors such as dairy, oil, canning and food processing. Key features:

  • Effective removal of tartar: Elledetar-S is specially formulated to effectively remove tartar from a wide range of surfaces and equipment used in the wine and food industries.
  • Material compatibility: this product is safe to use on stainless steel, iron, copper, epoxy coatings, glass and synthetic surfaces without damaging them.


It is not recommended to use Elledetar-S on aluminium, tin and painted or galvanised surfaces.

Sodium hydroxide >30%
Also contains sequestering agents.

Oenological sector: 3-10% in cold water (consider that 1 kg of Elledetar-S dissolves 5-8 kg of tartrate).
Food sector: 1-7% in water at 60-70°C.

Dilute Elledetar-S in hot or cold water, depending on the treatment to be carried out.
All parts that have come into contact with Elledetar-S must be rinsed thoroughly before re-use.
