Elledetar-L is a specially developed chemical formulation for the effective removal of tartar from wine vessels, winemaking equipment, filtration equipment, bottling lines and various equipment used in the wine industry. This powerful cleaner and descaler is highly versatile and can also be used in other industries, including dairy, oil, canning and food processing. Key features:

  • Effective tartar removal: Elledetar-L is formulated to effectively remove tartar from a wide range of surfaces and equipment used in the food and wine industry.
  • Material compatibility: this product is safe to use on stainless steel, iron, copper, stainless coatings, glass and synthetic surfaces without damaging them.


It is not recommended to use Elledetar-L on aluminium, tin, or painted or galvanised surfaces.

Sodium hydroxide >30%
Acid phosphonates <5%
Also contains sequestering agents.

Oenological sector: 3-10% in cold water.
Food industry: 1-7% in water at 60-70 °C.

Dilute Elledetar-L in hot or cold water, depending on the treatment to be carried out. All parts that have come into contact with Elledetar-L must be rinsed thoroughly before re-use.

Store in a dry place, away from heat sources.
