Greenfeed

Greenfeed is a yeast extract preparation produced by fermentation of certified organic Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
Greenfeed is an oenological preparation formulated primarily from yeast extract obtained from the fermentation of certified organic Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This product is designed to improve the fermentation process in wines and provide significant benefits to the flavor profile of wine. Here are some of its key features and functions:

  • Certified Organic Origin: Greenfeed is produced using yeast from certified organic farms. This ensures that the product is free of synthetic chemicals or pesticides, contributing to the production of organic wine.
  • High nutrient content: this preparation is rich in important nutrients for fermentation, including easily assimilated nitrogen, amino acids, vitamins and minerals. These nutrients are essential for yeast during the fermentation process.
  • Complete fermentation: because of its nutritional contribution, Greenfeed helps ensure complete and defect-free fermentation in musts. This is critical for obtaining high quality wines.
  • Aroma enhancement: Greenfeed contributes significantly to aroma production by yeast during fermentation. The amino acids provided by this preparation are involved in the biosynthesis of esters, which are key compounds for wine aromas. Consequently, the addition of Greenfeed can increase the aromatic complexity of wine.
  • Fineness and aromatic intensity: the addition of Greenfeed in the second part of fermentation can contribute to greater finesse and aromatic intensity than the addition of inorganic nitrogen alone. This can lead to more aromatic and complex wines.

Peels obtained from organically grown Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast.

Musts particularly rich in sugars: 20-30 g/hl between one-third and one-half of fermentation.
Musts deficient in readily assimilable nitrogen: 20-30 g/hl between one-third and one-half of fermentation.
Musts in fermentation: 20 g/hl.

It is recommended to combine the recommended dosages of Greenfeed with a DAP intake of 20 g/hl at the beginning of fermentation for better results.

Dissolve Greenfeed in water or must and add between 1/3 and halfway through fermentation to optimize nutrient supply.

1 kg bag.
Store the product in a cool, dry place.
